Shalante is a Paris born, Tel-Aviv based DJ on a mission to push the post-genre agenda. Her eclectic DJ sets blend a variety of genres ranging from breakbeat & electro techno, footwork and global beats. Rather than sticking to one, she aims to create her own hybrid sound by focusing on elements such as energy, groove, melody and percussion & emphasizing the connections between different rhythmic patterns. A storyteller at heart, Shalante’s intuitive understanding of the history, emotions & stories that derive from her music is omnipresent throughout each of her sets.
