The top ten finalists will be selected based on community votes. From these finalists, the HÖR x Voltage.Labs teams will choose the top three winners.

What is the HÖR x Voltage.Labs DJ Contest?
HÖR x Voltage.Labs DJ Contest is a competition for artists to showcase their talent and win exciting prizes.
What is Voltage Labs?
Voltage Labs is a forward-thinking electronic music platform connecting the dots in music, culture, and technology. Founded in 2023 and powered by Thomann, Europe’s largest musical instruments retailer, the platform serves as a digital hub for producers, DJs, and music and gear enthusiasts. Through in-depth artist and studio features, curated release radar and educational content, Voltage Labs explores the creative, historical and technical aspects of electronic music across a wide range of genres.
Who can participate?
HÖR x Voltage.Labs DJ Contest is open to all HÖR members aged 18 and above, and voting is open to all members.
How do I submit my mix?
Create or log in to your HÖR account, record your original mix (between 50-70 minutes in length), and submit it using the submission form.
How does the voting process work?
All members can vote for their favorite sets. Based on the votes, the top 10 finalists are chosen, and HÖR x Voltage.Labs teams selects the winner from these finalists.
What are the prizes?
The top ten finalists will be selected based on community votes. From these finalists, the HÖR x Voltage.Labs teams will choose the top three winners. The first-place winner will receive a DJ slot on HÖR, flight and accommodation at 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, two black Technics SL-1210 turntables, and a feature on HÖR and Voltage.Labs’ social media channels. The second and third-place winners will each receive a DJ slot at HÖR, a pair of Technics EAH-DJ1200 headphones, and a Thomann voucher—€250 for second place and €100 for third.
What are the rules and guidelines for submissions?
Participants must be 18+, submit original mixes, verify their accounts, and adhere to our community guidelines. Any form of manipulation or fraud will result in disqualification.
I submitted my mix, but I can’t find it on the platform. What happened?
If your mix isn’t appearing, it might be because it didn’t meet our contest guidelines. Make sure you’ve followed all the rules, including using the official personalized artwork provided for the contest and avoiding any violent or inappropriate content. If you believe you’ve followed all the rules and still don’t see your mix, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
Can I submit more than one mix?
Each artist can submit one mix per contest period.
When are the winners announced?
Winners will be announced on our website and social media channels during the week of May 6th, 2025.
How long should my mix be?
Your mix should be between 50-70 minutes in length.

You can also share behind-the-scenes moments or your preparation process leading up to the mix – it’s a great way to connect with your audience and build excitement.
How do we detect and prevent voting fraud?
We take fair play seriously. For this contest, we’ve implemented new tools to detect and prevent voting fraud. We’ll be closely watching the contest from start to finish to ensure everything stays fair. If we spot suspicious behavior, we review it manually and remove any fraudulent votes. Participants engaging in manipulative practices may be disqualified. Our goal is to keep the competition transparent and fair for everyone involved!
