Here’s how you can participate:
1. Create an artist profile at www.mavelpoint.com and complete the onboarding steps.
2. Record your mix: between 50-70 minutes in length, audio only.
3. Upload it via SoundCloud: submit your mix using the SoundCloud link in the form below.
The top 10 finalists will be selected based on community votes. From these finalists, the HÖR team will choose the top three winners.

What is the HÖR Maximum Heat DJ Contest?
HÖR Maximum Heat DJ Contest is a competition for artists to showcase their talent and win exciting prizes.
What is MavelPoint?
MavelPoint provides technology for the electronic music industry - helping artists, promoters, and booking agencies work more efficiently through better profile management, media organization, and talent discovery workflows. At the same time, we actively support local scenes by creating pathways for emerging artists to connect with the local industry, promoters, and booking networks, turning community-level momentum into real opportunities.
Do I need a MarvelPoint profile to participate in the contest?
Yes! Creating a free MarvelPoint profile and completing all onboarding steps is mandatory to participate in the Maximum Heat DJ Contest. Participants who fail to do this will not be eligible to win, regardless of how many votes they receive.
Who can participate?
HÖR Maximum Heat DJ Contest is open to all HÖR members aged 18 and above, and voting is open to all members.
How do I submit my mix?
Create or log in to your HÖR account, create or log in to you MavelPoint account, record your original mix (between 50-70 minutes in length), and submit it using the submission form.
How does the voting process work?
All members can vote for their favorite sets. Based on the votes, the top 10 finalists are chosen, and HÖR team selects the winner from these finalists.
What are the prizes?
The first-place winner will receive a DJ slot on HÖR, flight and accommodation at 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin. The second and third-place winners will each receive a DJ slot at HÖR.
What are the rules and guidelines for submissions?
Participants must be 18+, submit original mixes, verify their accounts, and adhere to our community guidelines. Any form of manipulation or fraud will result in disqualification.
I submitted my mix, but I can’t find it on the platform. What happened?
If your mix isn’t appearing, it might be because it didn’t meet our contest guidelines. Make sure you’ve followed all the rules, including using the official personalized artwork provided for the contest and avoiding any violent or inappropriate content. If you believe you’ve followed all the rules and still don’t see your mix, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
Can I submit more than one mix?
Each artist can submit one mix per contest period.
When are the winners announced?
Winners will be announced on our website and social media channels during the week of May 4th, 2026.
How long should my mix be?
Your mix should be between 50-70 minutes in length.

You can also share behind-the-scenes moments or your preparation process leading up to the mix – it’s a great way to connect with your audience and build excitement.
How do we detect and prevent voting fraud?
We take fair play seriously. For this contest, we’ve implemented new tools to detect and prevent voting fraud. We’ll be closely watching the contest from start to finish to ensure everything stays fair. If we spot suspicious behavior, we review it manually and remove any fraudulent votes. Participants engaging in manipulative practices may be disqualified. Our goal is to keep the competition transparent and fair for everyone involved!
