Amongst the rising generation of Egyptian producers/DJs, Assyouti has been making a good name for himself as of late and is now one of the most distinctive, unapologetic voices from Egypt's scene, standing out due to his high-energy aggression and versatile track selection that flows between (but not limited to) Bass, Footwork, Jungle, Hard Dance & Deconstructed Club + other forms of music foreign or exotic to the local scene which have separated him from the pack, dirty but elegant is the sound. Despite his young age, the 22 year old has already racked up appearances on NTS, Rinse France, Reprezent, Movement Radio, Radio Alhara as well as a residency on Ma3azef Radio, where he, using his "Waverider" moniker, dives deep every month into some of his other "non-club" influences like Punk, Post-Punk, Gothic Rock, EBM, Industrial, Cold Wave, Minimal Wave and other obscurities from the 1970s onwards.
