Growing up in Hamburg, DJ H3NN7's musical route initially led to techno. After immersing herself in and further exploring the subject matter, it was primarily the deep mystical tracks and dark elements that made up her sound and still characterize it today. Classic synth and drum sounds such as the TB303 or the TR909 play at least as important a role as the balanced use of vocals and grooves. If you ask DJ H3NN7, mathematical structures and rules are just as much a part of her sound as her personal knack for the right track at the right time.
The result is a precise and absolutely danceable mix of breakbeat influences, electro and techno, which earned her a residency at Luna Club Kiel. This is also where she recently launched a joint series entitled GEM in collaboration with partner in crime Asōka.
