Vienna-based artist Dzc. began her creative journey performing in several bands as a singer, pianist, and guitarist. Her early music school experiences sharpened her ear for detail. Her interest in the visual arts led her to focus on photography for some time, working in clubs and at festivals, which eventually guided her back to music. Especially drawn to various forms of House Music, she channeled her enthusiasm into DJing and music production, becoming a key member of the Acid Lambada Collective. Dzc. has immersed herself in all aspects of electronic music for almost a decade and has since released her tunes on labels such as Hidden Assets/Gestalt Records, Fortunea Records, Miura Records, and Studio Bahöö. Her productions reflect her passion for synth-driven dance music, characterized by dreamy pads and playful melodies. A regular on Fortunea Records, Dzc. was featured in two editions of the Fortunea Cookies VA-Series before presenting her first 4-track EP, 'Conversations with Birds,' in February 2024. This EP is a meticulously balanced collection of tracks designed for each phase of a club night. With her ability to balance Classic House, Progressive House, and dynamic breakbeats, Dzc. creates concentrated and energetic productions inspired by the musical elements of the '90s, leading listeners into her shimmering universe.
