Eugenia

The Bay Area queer dance music scene formed Eugenia's roots as a DJ, where she cut her teeth playing underground clubs and organizing DIY events. Her energetic mixing style can be defined as bright, tender, and highly dynamic, jumping across many genres of dance music wrapped in a lush atmosphere -- always with her signature touch of sass. While Eugenia grew up between the Bay Area and northern Italy, as of 2021 she is based in Boston, where she DJs with local queer collective Enter the Boudoir. She has shared decks with the likes of Maara, CCL, Cashu, Dee Diggs, D. Dan, and m50, to name a few. Fresh off of her summer sets at HOR Berlin, Jupiter Disco in Brooklyn, and Fast at Work in Los Angeles, she is now back in her base, ready to blossom further and curate her own vision. Outside of performing, Eugenia hosts a genre-non conforming, ambient-inspired radio show and mix series called "The Shape of Memory," as a part of experimental label Ghunghru, where she asks each artist to express a memory through the arc of a mix. The spirit of this series is to re-imagine memory as a breathing, living being, one that influences our feelings and sense of self.
