Scott McKay aka Fear-E is a DJ and producer based in Glasgow.
Having a long-time association as a regular DJ within his hometown’s club scene, Scott’s singular style of cross-genre club music and energetic to fiery sets, spanned into more appearances in various notable clubs around UK and Europe.
With a spatial and deconstructive approach to music, Fear-E’s productions pitch soft and hard sonics to create stripped-down, club-focused tracks. His almost alter-ego like music creations join smatterings of rave and pop-edits, aimed for the dancefloor.
Aside from his multiple releases on award winning imprint DABJ (Dixon Avenue Basement Jams) he has released through labels such as; Dark Entries, Super Rhythm Trax, Don’t Be Afraid, Hilltown Disco, Avoidant, Takeout, and Street Tracks.
Fear - E has had various radio guest spots and plays which included BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. His productions have been supported by several artists including Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Paul Woolford, Skream, Leftfield, and Andrew Weatherall.
