Marijn S is a female DJ and producer making waves in Amsterdam. As a Radio TNP affiliate and host, student at conservatory Haarlem as well as one of the faces behind independent record label and podcast Kulture Lab, she’s expanding her love and passion for music simultaneously.
She’s released 3 tracks on V/A releases on Kulture Lab, and multiple solo EP’s coming out this year.
Taking cultural influences into her productions, she combines the extremes: “ambience and chaos, complexity and simplicity, mystery and clarity.” Her solo works are an ever- evolving journey of experimental beats and atmospheric oddities.
Her DJ sets are all about merging sounds; from slow burners to fast paced break-y rhythms, creating special moments that are momentary, yet memorable.
She’s played at radio stations Operator Radio, Echobox, Radio TNP, and clubs such as RadioRadio, Club Atelier and Studio K.
