Monaghan started Deejaying from the age of 14 and fell in love with Reggae and Dub. Whilst at University and having access to decks for the first time at the student radio, this would be the beginning of a journey that would see him play some of the biggest venues and festivals around the UK. Despite his love forReggae & Bass music, Monaghan is a versatile DJ and has played Hip Hop, UKG, Techno, House, Drum & Bass, Northern Soul and Motown sets at various venues and festivals but his passion lies with 140bpm and Drum & Bass. Hugely inspired by the likes of Calibre, Visages, Alix Perez, Break, Spectrasoul and Shy FX.
Monaghan has had the pleasure of being booked to play: Fabric, Boomtown, Nass, Glastonbury,
Snowbombing, Mick’s Garage, Vegan Nights, Big Dub, High Rise and a 4 hour set at Ministry Of
Sound to name a few. A recent highlight was flying to Berlin to play for Hör and showcase his passion for dubplates and specials. 2021 was exciting for Liam as he gained over 20K views on his ‘Run Tingz’ live stream and has taken a leap into music production, with his first single ‘Purple Aura’ being signed to label Goat Shed and receiving support from BBC Radio 1. Closing off 2022 will see some new releases and a successful stretch of gigs having supported Calibre, DJ Hype, Grooverider, Bryan Gee, Verb T, Jam Baxter, Micky Finn and many more.
