Omon Breaker, Kyiv based up and coming musician, DJ and promoter, aims to manifest himself within the new Ukrainian generation of Techno producers. The Dnipro-born idealist combines EBM, Oldschool Trance, Hard Groove and Hard Techno in his works, always searching for an impactful modern layer. Having had a classical music education, his compositions are dominantly intuitive - emotional abstractions of his surroundings. Living in Obolon, Kyiv’s very own Banlieue, while being surrounded by daily violence and social decay, Omon Breaker started off DJing only in 2019. He runs two parties at acclaimed Otel Club and was resident at Kyiv’s first LGBTQI+ friendly club Crest until its closure. Heavily influenced by The Prodigy, Rammstein or Juno Reactor, his sets span a wide range of hard-hitting and intense musical references to his very own troubled history. Among the few who are actively upholding the flag for a new generation of Ukrainian Techno producers, he aims to promote a non-capitalist agenda within the fast-growing local scene. After the russian invasion, Max was forced to move to Berlin, where he is now based, continuing to promote the culture of the Ukrainian electronic scene.
