Qusay Awad (he/him), aka Qكيو, is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, creative, and DJ. Born in As-Suwayda, Syria, Qكيو is a member of the C1 collective, which is composed of Syrian artists working in the fields of electronic music and visual arts.
Qكيو's music style blends techno, breaks, bass, and experimental music mixed with electronic traditional rhythms and ambiances, resulting in a unique sound that derives from both the past and present. As a DJ, Qكيو creates a captivating dance floor experience that is both soulful and versatile, inspired by his profound experiences with displacement, self and freedom.
