SHI is a Kenyan-German DJ and Producer based in Nairobi. Exploding from relative obscurity to becoming a fixture of Nairobi’s vibrant and thriving nightlife in under a year, her rise has been nothing short of meteoric. SHI has thrived in the spaces in between genres and sounds, seamlessly flowing between Afro Tech, Deep House and Techno in a way that has allowed her to traverse East Africa’s electronic scene with poise and sophistication. Co-founder of the fem collective Sirens, SHI is playing an important role in mentoring and ushering in a new generation of talent in the electronic sphere in East Africa. A staunch supporter of underground electronic music, SHI embodies the ethos of house music as it was intended and created.
