Originally from the states, and based in Europe, softchaos is a multidisciplinary artist driving their black, indigenous and latinx heritage into techno. Drawing from the black roots of electronica, they are known for their brutally melodic pairing of high-energy groove-driven music along with hard percussive electronic tracks and hints of far-reaching club sounds that highlight their project: a deep commitment to dispose of the rules of genre and highlight the sounds of their culture and building new possibility. Alongside their residency on Oroko Radio, softchaos is also a co-director of TORO, an arts collective based in Barcelona.
