A mainstay on the Berlin underground circuit, Thabo has over the past years built a stellar reputation as a promoter, seasoned DJ, and prolific producer. The Berlin-born and bred artist has become synonymous with the soulful yet groovy house he champions in the booth and the studio, which is marked by lots of warm samples, energetic breaks, and always feel-good vibes. Thabo spent his formative years listening to hip hop and dancehall – something that still somehow manifests in his productions. After discovering electronic music in early 2000, the German artist immersed himself in the dance music scene. Soon he was promoting his first raves at Berlin venues like Cookies or Tape Club. After a few years spent honing his sound and finding his groove, he quickly started DJing regularly, playing Berlin clubs like Watergate, IPSE and Prince Charles. Internationally, he’s played ADE, HYTE, Space Ibiza, Sonar and more. The accomplished Berlin DJ is a prolific producer, too. He released on various imprints under his former, earning praise from stalwarts like Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, DJ Sneak, Robert Owens, LTJ Bukem, or Jovonn along the way. But Thabo always knew that without curating his own events, his clubbing vision would remain incomplete. So in 2016, he launched “home again”, channeling 10 years of experience as a promoter into a concept embodying his ideal house party, with bookings like Borrowed Identity, Sweely, Eli Escobar, or Adryiano playing with Thabo at Prince Charles and IPSE. With a number of stellar releases in the pipeline, Thabo looks to continue his mission of making crowds dance with his uplifting house sounds for years to come.
