The Brvtalist is a writer, promoter and DJ with a focus on mutant metropolitan culture. Since 2013, the platform of the same name has featured, collaborated and/or performed with a variety of artists across multiple disciplines including Ancient Methods, Drab Majesty, VTSS, Minuit Machine, Silent Servant, Nene H, SPFDJ and more. As a DJ, The Brvtalist fuses together a mix of techno, industrial, EBM, acid and rave, playing both sides of the Atlantic, from Los Angeles to New York, Berlin, London, Kyiv and Paris.
In 2020, The Brvtalist launched his namesake label, Brvtalist Sound Recordings, which has since released music from Wvalaam Klous, madwoman, Alessandro Nero, UNREALNUMBERS, Soraä, Hybral x Lesser Of, Might Be Twins and forthcoming releases include EPs from Mercury 200, MOIA and more.
For over seven years, The Brvtalist has morphed into various party concepts - conjuring raves, live concerts, film screenings, fashion launches and beyond and is currently presenting Brvtal Vision, an event series which advances the project’s unique sound and style, in Barcelona (w/Unlocked), Riga (w/Sublimation), Berlin, Warsaw, Thessaloniki and soon beyond.
Through the website of the same name, the renown podcast series, New Brvtalism, a Brvtal Vision residency on HÖR Berlin, the Brvtalist S.R. imprint and over 10 years of experience as a DJ, The Brvtalist aims to expose different elements which all share the same dark romantic allure.
