Art School Girlfriend is the moniker of producer / writer Polly Mackey. Polly's teen years spent in shoegaze bands and with her love of electronic beats culminates in her Art School Girlfriend solo project. She has her own monthly ambient-beats show on Foundation FM, as well as providing mixes for CRACK, i-D and Balamii. Her DJ sets are ambient yet thumping, and sometimes expand to live sampling sets at the likes of legendary queer rave Chapter 10.
