bod [包家巷] is the primary audiovisual performance project of Tucson-born, Berlin-based artist N. Zhu. Beginning with a series of emotionally direct and syntactically encrypted music/video/text projects on various independent labels and moving to self-releases, bod [包家巷] has gradually expanded the project from cyber-Realist microcosmic analyses of the emotional experience of poverty, alienation, and non-identity towards the intersecting fields of East/West dualistic esotericism, quantum mechanical spirituality concerning non-Euclidean conceptions of time, anti-collaborationist passivity and non-object oriented geopolitical repositioning.
