Clément Ségura

Originally from Bordeaux, Clément explores electronic music with eclecticism, curiosity, and humility. A DJ defined by his versatility and the energy he shares through his sets, he combines a talent for uncovering rare beats with a keen ear for the latest releases. His sets flow seamlessly between early trance, post-punk, and syncopated sounds, while also drawing from ambient and dub. As part of the Pompelope collective, Clément shines as a DJ, event organizer, and contributor to the collective's label. The compilation “Foule Contact vol.01” is a heartfelt project that brings together key artists from the collective’s universe, such as Gui Scott, Kito Jempere, Simple Exposition, Eternal Love, Franz Scala, and Pardonnez-Nous. The Pompelope parties, well-known among regulars of East Paris clubs, offer him a platform to showcase his connections with the artists he admires. As early member of the webzine SeekSickSound, Clément also co-organized events that played a key role in the rise of bass music on the Parisian scene, featuring artists and collectives such as Denham Audio, Egregore or POLAAR. Clément Segura also leads a more personal project: Tour de Trance. This mix series satisfies his passion for curation, blending styles and connecting artists from diverse backgrounds to create exclusive and polished mixes. The series has featured artists such as Marie Montexier, Nathan Micay, Vidal Benjamin, Sunju Hargun or 69db. Since 2021, he has been managing the artistic programming at le 9b in Paris, where he organizes alternative events centered around music that is both experimental and unifying. Situated in a historically significant venue for the Parisian electronic and underground scene, his work continues to push creative boundaries while fostering community.
