Cybernet is an intrinsically talented producer from Naarm (Melbourne), possessing an almost natural ability to craft soundscapes that fuse elements of Progressive Trance, 90's Goa and Breaks. Though he has tried his hand at a host of genres throughout his relatively short but productive career, he has found a passion in recent times within the Trance genre – drawing influence from the timeless productions of the 90’s and 00’s era. A Cybernet track always pays homage in some form to the music of this time period, with his productions tending to feature a carefully-crafted composition of breaks, 303 lines, rich pads and evolving textures. Cybernet’s core production identity revolves around open-mindedness; particularly in the way that he draws upon music from a wide array of genres to subsequently create something in his own unique style. It’s an approach that has been tangibly important in the way that he designs & arranges his tracks, whilst ensuring that the process remains fresh and invigorating at all times. Having already released music on labels such as GODDEZZ (UK) & Meganesia (AU), Cybernet’s innate talent as a producer was more formally represented via his ‘Druid’ EP on Gestalt Records (EE) – the increasingly influential Estonian label run by Steffan Todorović (Abdul Raeva). Achieving the long held dream of having his music released on vinyl, the 4-track EP features a collection of different takes on both old and new style progressive trance, underscored by heavier driving basslines that are traditionally heard in old school Goa and Hardtrance tracks. Taking influence from his collective experiences at bush doofs/raves held in Naarm (Melbourne), the stellar EP represents the beginning of the next chapter for Cybernet’s artistic journey. Grounded by a passion for making music and the honing of his true musical taste, Cybernet’s contribution to the scene is set to reach even further heights.
