DJ Soch is an Italian DJ and producer active since the late 1980s, and a key figure in the Italian underground house scene. For many years he was a resident DJ at Serendipity Club, one of the most influential electronic clubs in Italy, contributing to its musical identity and sharing the booth with international artists. DJ Soch is not just house music — he is much more. His art represents a meeting point between the timeless elegance of Frankie Knuckles and the raw power of Ron Hardy — two references that perfectly embody his ability to blend emotional depth with rhythmic intensity. DJ Soch is a true architect of sound, a master of the house matrix. In his sets, he expresses undeniable elegance, fusing deep and warm sounds with rougher, more abrasive and visceral elements. His musical journey ideally moves through New York, Chicago, and Detroit, merging with more Mediterranean nuances rooted in the early Italian house sound of the 1990s. His productions have been released on labels such as Chiwax, Skylax, Four Framed Music, Black Angus Records, BKA Records, and Distant Awaii. He has performed in important international venues, including Berghain / Panorama Bar in Berlin. He also produces under the alias “The Italian Stallion,” a project that recalls the early 1990s sound, inspired by paradise house, Italian and American house, and artists such as Pal Joey, Vincent Floyd, Chez Damier, Mood II Swing, Mr. Fingers, and Dream 2 Science. He is a resident DJ together with his partner Issam Dahmani on Loose.fm with the show “Close to the Heart,” and president of the Human Beings Collective, which is committed to promoting inclusion and equal rights. With the collective, he curates and is one of the resident DJs of the party FREAKIT!, a regional reference point for house music culture.
