Duwe is a Nigerian and Milan-based DJ who transforms music into a force of liberation. Raised in a world where music was completely off-limits, she turned that silence into rhythm, channeling her story into electrifying sets that are as personal as they are powerful. Duwe’s sound is a bold statement—an alchemy of influences that weaves the raw pulse of house and acid house, the relentless drive of fast-paced electronic and the textured grooves of breakbeat with afro touches. She has shared the decks with artists such as Gabrielle Kwarteng, Courtney Bailey, Fatima Koanda, Hiroko Hacci, Mykki Blanco and Populous, among many others. Emerging as a rising force within Milan’s club scene, she has lit up dancefloors at venues including Vacuum Club, BASE Milano and NAMA, while also performing at events around Lake Como. Her mixes have been broadcast on Radio Raheem, ARCA Radio, Linea Radio Milano, NTS Radio, and she currently hosts a residency on Radio Alhara.
