Born in Liverpool and now based in Paris, Faye Fearon's transition into French life has been heavily marked by DJing. Having studied piano and classical music throughout her childhood, her affinity with notation and melodic narratives allowed for a seamless transition into mixing, the taste of which has been guided by her gothic identity. Fascinated by the interplay between sound, style and sex, she immerses herself in scenes which explore them as a subcultural collective, most frequently playing as a resident for the underground Parisian soirée, Maison Pourpre. Dominated by the dark sides of electro and techno, and fused with touches of EBM and dark disco, Faye's sets invite listeners into her subjective programme of pleasure – driven by a desire to trigger sensations for the vampiric mind.
