Javier Bähr is a DJ and producer from Frankfurt, Germany. Javier (born 1994) came to electronic music for the first time as a teenager in Darmstadt, his hometown. At first, he was drawn to the Darmstadt scene and explored the techno-terrain in Frankfurt. Starting from 2014 he commuted monthly to Berlin, in order to receive inspiration for his own way. In Berlin, he also cultivated his love for vinyl and since then loves to wander through the large number of record shops in the capital. For his studies in visual communication he moved to Munich, where he quickly immersed himself in the musical scene. It was larger than the one in Darmstadt, but by far not as important as it is today. From 2015 till 2018 he was Resident DJ of the MMA - Mixed Munich Arts Club. In addition, during that time Bähr was a member of the label and event series „From Another Mind“ that are hosting events world wide. From 2017 to 2021 Javier ran Rohstoff together with his good mate Svar. Rohstoff was an ambient label and monthly radio show on Munich community Radio80000. It aimed to present its audience soundscapes outside the usual realm of club music. In 2020 he founded the techno label Inpureform.
