Lana Den has been an integral part of the Chinese electronic underground music scene for more than three years. She is based in Beijing and performs mainly in Chinese and other Asian cities. Her music is inspired by Berlin clubs, where she used to live before moving to China, and the cassettes tapes that her parents played in the family car in the 1990s. Lana’s passion is to bring people together and create a space where everyone has the room to express themselves - which is not always easy in places like China where underground culture is under constant pressure. She also organises her own nights in Beijing. Lana’s music is energetic, humorous and psychedelic. She also produces her own music. Lana is a dancer too and explores different dance styles, like Swing, Contemporary and Gaga which also influences her music selection.
