Willem has built a name for himself as an artist of note with a unique sound that blends techno, trance and rave influences. In a short amount of time, he has played at Let Them Eat Cake, Smalltown, Beyond the Valley, XE54, Revolver and Colour Club, and supported international artists including Roza Terenzi, Tijana T, Schacke and Marcel Dettman. Flying the flag of a fresh, unique sound that fuses old-school rave with neo-trance and proto-techno, Willem also makes up one half of the Melbourne party collective Gold Haus, a young, exuberant team hosting warehouse, open-air parties and club nights.
With releases on Space Trax, Goddezz, Falling Star Erotica and Meganesia, and upcoming productions sitting somewhere between hard-hitting speedy techno, energetic cosmic breaks, and euphoric halcyon era trance, Willem is forcing his way to the front with a massive sound that is highly impactful - and undeniably his own.
