Nissa's style is influenced by the Soul, Disco and early Rap her parents introduced her to, the Pop and RnB anthems she worshipped as a teen and the dark sounds hailing from Atlanta, Houston and Memphis that seeped through her brother’s bedroom walls. Combining bass and club music from all over the world, her sound is a diverse sound collage featuring international gems.
Since picking up the USB sticks in 2018 she has played clubs all over Germany, festivals like Fusion, Splash! or Reeperbahn Festival as well as radio shows and platforms like foundation.fm, Radio80000, Cashmere Radio, THF Radio and HÖR Berlin.
She is a co-host on the monthly show TRACTION on Uebel & Gefährlich' sic.nal Radio as well as a resident at Half Moon Brooklyn with her Hamburg & Berlin based DJ network SLIC Unit.
